Sixth scientific workshop: Lisboa, March 30-31, 2017

1. Step 1: Airport to Cais do Sodré, two possibilities (bus or subway):
   
   • Bus (preferred):
     The Aerobus departs from the arrivals terminal and there is a service every 20 minutes. The ticket costs 3.50 EUR (or 5.50 EUR for two adults) and the last stop is the Cais do Sodré train station.
   • Subway:
     
     • Take the subway red line at the airport until the station Alameda.
     • Change to the green line towards Cais do Sodré. This costs ca. 1.40 EUR + 0.50 EUR for the rechargeable ticket.
2. Step 2: Cais do Sodré to Carcavelos:
   At Cais do Sodré, you take the train towards Cascais until Carcavelos. There is a departure every 20 minutes during daylight hours and the last services are at 24:00, 00:30 and 01:00. The train journey from Lisbon to Carcavelos requires a 3 zone ticket, 1.90 EUR + 0.50 EUR viva card for an adult. Tickets must be bought from the ticket office or ticket machine before boarding the train. The train journey takes 30 minutes and follows the scenic coastline, for the best views sit on the left hand side of the carriage.
3. Step 3: Carcavelos to hotel:
   From the train station it takes about 10 minutes walking to the hotel (see map) or you can take a taxi at the station.
