First Management Committee Meeting, 28-4-2014
A total of 18 countries (out of 22) were represented at the meeting, which was held during Monday April 28, 2014.
During the meeting our Science Officer (Lucia Forzi) and Administrative Officer
(Svetlana Voinova) explained the basic
procedures with COST Actions, and a number of positions within the Action were formally approved.
In total 25 participants were present from the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain and United Kingdom.
The ECOSTBio Action started officially on April 28, 2014 (the day of this first MC meeting) and will run until April 27, 2018. The Raaporteur for the Action is Prof. Hans Jørgen Aagaard Jensen.
The provisional budget for the first budget period (June 1, 2014-May 31, 2015) is 145.000€, which is subject to change due to the ongoing negotiation of the H2020 Grant Agreement between the COST Association and the EU.
The first ECOSTBio scientific workshop will take place in Girona, at the end of September; this meeting will be followed by Working Group (WG) meetings in January 2015. Furthermore, a small meeting to discuss the setup of the SPINSTATES database (with 6-8 participants) will be held in Girona (July 2014).
The next MC meeting will be held at the end of the scientific workshop in Girona at the end of September.
